You may be keen to have hypnotherapy or coaching, but not sure how it would work now it’s done remotely. I’ve put a few helpful thoughts and insights below and of course if you have any questions, please do get in touch.

Clients have found that they get used to chatting by video conferencing very quickly and there are many advantages to it, such as saving on travel time and money and being able to fit appointments more easily into their busy schedules.
Each hypnotherapy session lasts around 50 minutes to an hour and at present I am conducting them by Zoom or FaceTime. You will need:
- A laptop, desktop or phone
- An internet connection
- A quiet place where you can lie down such as a sofa or bed with a blanket for warmth (this is not needed for the initial consultation). Some clients prefer to stay seated and this is fine. Ideally you would have a comfortable chair.
If you are in a shared house, you may prefer to use headphones and want to be somewhere you can’t be overheard for confidentiality reasons.
The first time you use Zoom, you would need to download the software. This is very simple to do and only takes a moment.
As usual, the first part of the session would involve talking and coaching therapies and the second part would involve the hypnotherapy itself.
The therapeutic benefits of online sessions are equal to those of face to face and for some people they find they prefer them.
Please do get in touch if you would like to know more. I would love to be able to help you. There are so many benefits to taking a pro-active approach to your mental health.
